Though thought lost by all in his cataclysmic duel with the great Balrog, Gandalf did not indeed pass permanently out of Middle-earth. Returning beyond hope from fire and death to muster the forces of light, the wizard shed his grey mantle and took up the title of Gandalf the White. The power that had lain veiled beneath his old grey visage now shone undiluted in the eyes of the pale wizard.
I own both beige and white robes versions of this Gandalf and besides the colour pallets they are the same, though interestingly no Gandalf gets the sheath right as it’s white not beige or blue or grey but white when he’s in this form. This figure has a better glamdring though with the blue handle but as I said both are the same figure with the vinyl cloak which is nicely detailed with an Elven broach but very cumbersome and the terrible staff raising/ sword slash action feature of pressing the button on his back to activate this feature which leaves him with limited arm movement. He has a swivel head, swivel right arm with swivel elbow and wrists but the right arm can also hinge out, swivel waist, hinged legs that’s can go forward and single jointed knees and ankles. Gandalf the White, the higher form of Gandalf the Grey
This is definitely a quality LOTR figure. One of the few figures that is an EXACT replica of his movie counterpart. He comes equipped with two weapons, his staff(which is very nicely sculpted) and a sword with sheath. He may also have a swinging arm feature(I'm pretty sure he does), mine is buried under all my other LOTR figures lol
His color is exactly what it should be, all white. His hair, clothes and staff are all white and his hair is the right length. His sheath is black while his sword is silver and is made with hard plastic, it doesn't bend and its sturdy. The sheath belt is a brown color.
