Riff was made from the recycled plastic of guitar picks found at a jazz club. He's every inch a soldier, yet retains the coolness of his former existence.
Riff is cool. His gun is cool. His style is cool. His sunglasses are cool. Not suprising, as he was molded from the plastic used for guitar picks. As a result of this, Riff loves music and plays the saxophone. Since bravo company didn't need a sax player, Riff took to the bazooka instead, and seems to never miss.
