Once a good wizard and ally of Gandalf, Saruman becomes corrupt in his quest for power and desires to obtain the One Ring for himself. He greedily rebuilds the once beautiful Gardens of Isengard into a breeeding ground of evil.
This mould is the only figure of Saruman we got besides repaints. His details are nice and comes with his staff the palantir (either all black or with the eye of sauron on both sides) and a magnetic base to put it on. This massive hunk of plastic suspends the eye in the air or at least makes it wobble between two prongs either side of it with the magnets in which looks like a mini tower of bara dur. The action figures articulation is very basic and the right arm is inhibited due to the raising staff action feature operated by an ugly lever on the back of the figure. To achieve a closer likeness to the late great Christopher Lee, one would have to give the face a serious repaint.
