Well, I'm not that big a fan of Halo, in fact, I couldn't like it less, however, one thing that always kept me looking was the great designs of the Spartans. This was my first figure in McFarlane's Halo 3 5 inch series, and let me say it definitely won't be my last. The articulation is beautiful, pretty much everything you'd expect to have articulation has one more thing than you'd need (expect fingers sadly) I'm happy that the sculpt is different from Master Chief's even if it's not by that much, that means McFarlane didn't take the lazy route and didn't just repaint it and the paint apps are too good, some people need to take lessons on how this guy does stuff because his work is stellar.
