Back when Victor Von Doom was a genius student, his classmate Reed Richards warned him of a miscalculation on one of his experiments. Doom ignored him and the experiment blew out on his face. Unable to cope with failure, the disfigured Doom believed that Reed had sabotaged his experiment. Doom was expelled and traveled to his native country Latveria, where he took over the government and became the new ruler. Donning a medieval-looking yet highly advanced armor, Victor Von Doom has become the most dangerous Earthen supervillain, and even more than that in the brief times that he has taken the powers of cosmic beings like Silver Surfer or the Beyonder.
