Birthed in the canyons by goblin men in service to Saruman in preparation for the great war to come for the one ring, The toughest and biggest Uruk and prototype of Saruman's elite soldiers Lurtz was tasked with leading a company of Uruks to capture the Hobbit in posession of the one ring and kill the fellowship. Soon Lurtz having mercilessly led his elite battalion through the realm, tracked the fellowship to Amon-Hen within 2 days. There the company fought with the fellowship in a pitched skirmish that separated the hobbits from the others. Lurtz shot at one member of the fellowship, Boromir, with his great longbow while the two hobbits who were with him, Pippin and Mary were taken. As the company fled with the hobbits, sadistic Lurtz was about to deal the final blow to Boromir when Aragorn interceded and they engaged in a vicious fight. Aragorn barely escaped with his life, only managing to kill Lurtz by beheading the colossal beast. Lurtz had been stabbed in the thigh with a dagger, his arm severed and impaled in the torso with a sword, with no sign of slowing down.
