Drill Bit really wants only one thing: a fight! He's always volunteering for security detail, risky missions, or basically anything that might give him a chance to get into battle. When the war came back to haunt the Mini-Cons, Drill Bit was secretly relieved that he would once again have an excuse to engage in the chaos and violence he excels in. In fact, although it goes unsaid, Drill Bit really doesn't even mind working with the Decepticons as long as he gets a piece of the action. He has incredible strength and the awesome ability to attach to Cyclonus, to maximize his fighting power. Cyclonus has figured out how to use this demolition-driven Mini-Con to create the most damage possible.
