The Raven is one of my all time favorite MASK vehicles so I just had to take a stab at breathing some new life into it. I came across a die cast Corvette concept car that I thought would be appropriate seeing as how the original Raven was an 84 Corvette. I have never customized a die cast car so it became quite the learning experience I wanted the car to be able to transform as much as possible so I used the joints from some spare Transformers (sorry Cyclonus) I had lying around to make the flip up wheels. For the reverse gull wing doors I ground out the frame and then epoxied piano hinge to the doors and frame. The front end slides forward and rotates again thanks to the sacrifice of some brave transformers. Calhoun was made mainly from a Rise of Cobra StormShadow. I wanted his face to be unique so I re sculpted the head from the RoC Rex/doctor figure. The sculpted the chest piece and a bit of the mask using aves fixit. I tried to keep the color scheme as close to the original as I could but at the same time give him a more updated look as neon orange doesn't seem to be as hip as it was in the 80's so I incorporated some metallics on the mask chest and backpack then painted over them with some Tamiya clear orange, The rest was painted with Citadel paints. Thanks for looking I look forward to any comments or critiques. ![]() |

While I can fit the figure inside the car it is quite cramped as the scale isn't quite the same but it was the closest I could find at the time.
The car does transform to the hydroplane boat mode here are a couple WiPs I'll post more when I find them.
and if anyone decides they want to disect a die cast car stock up on dremel cut off wheels in advance
it would've been better if the figure can fit inside the car. or if it does, you could've posted the pic where the figure is sitting inside his ride... but still, great work!
