This Emma Frost action figure turned out to be a pain, but the end results were worth it. I started off with a Catwoman figure that I found cheap at a hobby store. When I went to take the legs off for paint, her left knee actually broke in half beyond repair. I looked online for replacement parts, but found out the figure was worth around $40.00. (If I had known that, I probably would have left her alone and just re-sold her) Anyway, I ended up cutting the top half of her legs and then glued and epoxied them onto some sanded down Angel legs. Although they are not as sexy as the original legs, they do have some added articulation that the originals didn't have. This is also the first time I used spray paint for the arms and legs and I was really happy with the results. Overall, I'm happy with the way she turned out even though she stands a little taller than many of the other MLs. She does look good standing next to the taller MLs, like Thor or Mr. Sinister, but looks down a little at poor Cyclops. HaHa Let me know what you think. The recipe is: base- DC Knightfall Catwoman with corset sculpted head- Catwoman's mask was sanded down and then hair sculpted legs- lower 3/4 ML Angel cape- LOTR Gandalf ![]() |
