The Jedi keep coming!As I was creating these figures,I came up with a bit of interconnecting fan fiction as well.Hope everyone likes the figure and the mini story/biography. Jedi Master Yeroc was a Devaronian who was a historian and teacher at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant before the Clone Wars.Unlike most Devaronian males,Master Yeroc was even tempered,humble,and peace loving,though by no means a pacifist.After the war threatened to envelope the galaxy,The Jedi Council sent Master Yeroc and a battalion of clone troopers to the Deep Core World of Had Abbadon to quell the violent uprising against the local governments support of the Republic.It was during these mass riots that Yeroc's mastery of the lightsaber form called Jar'Kai and strong connection with the Force commanded respect not only from the populace,but the clone battalion under his command as well.Darth Tyrannus (Count Dooku) himself led the attack on Had Abbadon against Master Yeroc and his battalion,now calling themselves the Demon Dogs.Most of the clones were killed,and Master Yeroc was terribly wounded during the battle,having faced Darth Tyrannus and narrowly escaping with his life.He was taken in and hidden from the Separatist Forces by a Twilek who had been a petty thief before Yeroc and the Demon Dogs had restored a semblance of order to Had Abbadon.Not much is known of Master Yeroc's movements after this,although it was thought that he may have taken a Devaronian wife and they lived in hiding on the outskirts of a trading hub on Had Abbadon.Supposedly,shortly after discovering his wife was pregnant with a son,Yeroc was found by Darth Vader during the Great Jedi Purge and cut down after a fantastic lightsaber battle.It is widely thought that his son later became a disciple of the Sith Lord Darth Krahyt,calling himself Darth Reave. I've learned that customizing is full of "happy accidents" and sometimes it's best to follow your instincts and see where they lead you!Most,if not all,of my customs evolve as I'm creating them,and often have differences from the source material,so my work reflects my interpretation of the characters.So,please remember,the figure may not look 100% like the comic or movie version,but I always do my best to capture the essence of the character.
Quite often I see other customizers figures and I'm in awe of their work and have to make one of my own!In those cases,I hope the original customizer realizes that imitation is the ultimate form of flattery,and I really am paying them a very sincere compliment.In cases where I know who the original customizer is,I will always give credit where it is due.
