Hey guys. It's CoolCutta Creations back at it again. This time w/ my all time favorite Dragonball Z figures. S.H. Figuarts made some amazing DBZ figures. Unfortunely, one of these DBZ figures were just 2 expensive for my taste....SSJ Vegeta. I recently started collecting these figures, and when I saw the price of SSJ Vegeta, ($224) I knew that I was NEVER gonna get that figure. When they released the normal Vegeta, an idea sparked in my brain....why not make this normal Vegeta into the SSJ Vegeta I can't afford. So I ordered 2 Normal Vegeta's and modified one of 'em. Here's the steps I took to make my own SSJ Vegeta. 1. Remove the torso, head, neck & arms. 2. Remove the pieces of Vegeta's armor. You won't be needing them anymore. 3. Sand down the collar where it evens out w/ his neck. Sand down the pegs where the waist armor once were. Make sure you have a buff pad to smooth out the rough edges. 4. To make his straps, over his shoulders, you can use old action figure belts that match the look of the armor. I used foam sheets where you can find in your local Hobby Lobby store. 5. Repaint the neck. If you purchased 2 of the Normal Vegeta's, repaint the large hair piece that his scouter does not fit into. If you are beginning to collect these awesome characters & you want yourself a SSJ Vegeta w/o paying that crazy Super Saiyan price, follow these steps. Also if you purchased 2 of these you can have yourself 2 figures in one. Thanks guys & God bless. ![]() |

Awesome! I love me some DBZ, it wasn't simply hyperbole when toonami used to call it the "greatest action cartoon ever made", and Vegeta is my favorite character from the show. I love how he came out, great work!
