Wolverine / Logan (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:58608
Name:Wolverine / Logan
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:Dr.Zom
Date Added:February 21, 2014
Base Figure:XMC New X-Men Wolverine
Height:6.00 inches
Completion Time:20.00 hours
Articulation:36 points
Pretty simple recipe, cut the ridiculous nipples off (ouch?) an XMC Wolvie and then repainted all but the arms, neck and face. Used a couple of different color mixes and drybrushing applications with Model Masters acryl paints. Had joint pains in the shoulder discs and had to trim those with some dremeling and the ol' "Blade of Exact-Zero."

Next I dremeled out the backs of his hands and fashioned some claws from paper clips and a broken Revoltech joint and some Apoxie Sculpt and finally painted up the bases in flesh-tones. The claws are removable.

Thanks for looking and God Bless!

*update* How could I have forgotten, thanks to Kyle Robinson and the one and only Jin Saotome for their tutorials on doing metal claws. Although I did not use either of their techniques, the methods heavily influenced me to do my own. Yet again, Revoltech joints demonstrate their nigh-infinite uses!

Very cool Logan! I like the poses and pics you did on this guy especially with the sword and on the motorcycle.

Much appreciated comment, my friend! This same mold of course was used on both of the Legendary Riders Series Wolverine figs, and I had picked it up on the cheap awhile back knowing the versatile pose-ability. This is also my favorite unmasked head sculpt by far.
