Firstly, I sculpted his helmet, shield, and scarf using Aves Apoxie Sculpt. After the sculpt had set, I painted it in layers. After the primer, I applied several layers of red to the shiny metal parts, and several layers of gray to the body suit portions. I then applied a gunmetal paint wash to his body, taking care to leave out his helmet, so that his helmet would appear well kept compared to the rest of him. I see blues as the type of person to take pride in his helmet's appearance, despite still getting his hands (er, Proto Busters) dirty. Using enamel gloss, I made the metal parts of his body appear shinier than the rest of him. After he was dry, I sealed him with some spray sealant to prevent paint errors.
