I've always loved the old Jabba The Hutt concept maquettes by Phil Tippett and I wanted to make something reminiscent of those. This is what I came up with. I used MDF for the basic stucture of the dias and sculpted over it. Jabba is also fully sculpted, as is everything, except the hose on the hookah and the pipe. It's 6 inches high, so Jabba is pretty much in-scale with 3 3/4" action figures.
