So I walked into my local Hobby Lobby looking to restock my paints when, much to my chagrin, I discovered that Testors has discontinued their Model Master acrylic paints. OH NOSE !!!!
Any suggestions from my fellow Realmers on what brands I should replace them with. I really like the Citadell paints (they do tend to dry up really fast inside the pots though),and I have used Tamiya and Vallejo paints as well on occasion. Curious to know what you guys and gals in the community will be using going forward if you like me mainly utilized the Testors products....[See More]

I'm a brand new customizer wannabe, have cracked Legends, etc figures for practice, but no finished projects yet. I just got a 4" Spin Masters Riddler and found the articulation to be exactly what I was looking for. The seam is obvious, and it's a neck peg. I've been having a rough time trying to crack the figure without causing cosmetic damage. I have tried boil and pop and a heat gun. Either the plastic is too warm and bends too easily, or it's too cold and my pliers end up scratching it. Also, the elbow and leg joints to this figure confound me, since I haven't gotten them off yet. I imagine it's a hinge with a peg inserting into the upper arm/ leg. This petition is about bringing back the 3.75"/4" (1:18 scale) Marvel action figures. Preferably the Marvel Universe line.

Remember when you used to rush to Toys R Us, Walmart and Target, trying to beat the other collectors before they got the rare figures? For adults, action figures are one of the last bits of youth we hold onto. What started as a handful of figures became a massive hunt with the kids. Store to store on release weeks. Finding the new characters we'd yet to add to the collection. Huge Christmas mornings. Displaying at home/work.
