Prime directive number 1 should be go out and buy this figure. Robocop set a new record for violence in movies. With thugs getting blown away left right in centre in mini explosions of blood. The movie was over the top violent and does not make any excuses for it. I always loved the movie as a kid. I loved seeing bullets bounce off Robocop’s armored chest. I always wanted a figure but I missed the boat on them when they first came out (I was too young) When MacFarlane came out with there rendition of the Detroit’s finest cyborg I was stoked. Robocop comes with his machine gun pistol and an urban base with what appears to be a garbage can, a small create and features spent shells and bullets on the floor. I have watched the terminator movies ever since I was young. My favorite part was the future war scenes. I loved the flash of plasma rifles the rolling treads of the HK crushing the skulls and the humming sound of the flying HK. But my favorite was the endoskeletons. 6’2 tall of solid metal with a morbid metallic grin that could send chills down your spine. The endoskeleton *is* what the terminator movies are about in my opinion. Don’t forget underneath Arnold there was a model 101 chassis. I was extremely excited when I herd NECA was producing an endoskeleton figure. The endoskeleton weighs is at 6 inches tall. Right out of the package it looks awesome. I am a huge fan of the terminator series movies. There have been a bunch of toys but they have been flawed somehow. The Kenner series were not movie accurate at all. McFarlane toys had little to no articulation. So far all the toys weren’t as well sculpted and well articulated terminator figures……until now. I just bought Sideshow’s T-800 figure today and I was amazed how awesome it was. The sculpt is dead on. This figure looks so much like Arnold it’s scary. If I was rating the sculpt than I’d give it a 5 out of 5. Articulation is really good. This figure uses Sideshow’s normal body which boasts at least 30 points of articulation.
