Oh wow, it's been quite a while since I made one of these. Well, then. After around two years, I've finally made one of these again and on a figure I've wanted for years. Ladies and gentlemen, I got him. The San Diego Comic Con 2011 Exclusive Dragon Ball Z/Kai S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Son Goku. And my god, was the anticipation worth the wait. First of all, the paint job is radically different from his original counterpart, donning a more "anime-accurate" look, and I must say it looks incredible. His hair has orange shading all throughout, which fades from yellow and into white. Is it intense? Yeah, it's decently intense, some may say it's a tad candy-corny, but I personally think it suits Goku well, because (and I'll say this a lot, but) if you go back and watch any key moment of Dragon...[See More]

Well, this wasn't expected. To be honest, I'd never think of reviewing this, but after it being almost a few months since I've done something on here that involves reviews, I decided to review my 2nd S.H.Figuarts Dragon Ball Z Figure. Super Saiyan Goku is definitely good. It's actually a solid figure (if you couldn't tell by the rating I gave it, genius) I only really don't enjoy the loose joint issue. It makes him very tedious to pose, as this really hinders his joints. I don't have any hobby cement and I'm not sure if I have pledge. I personally think that he should've come with a bit more than what he came with, but seeing as it's one of BANDAI/TAMASHII NATIONS' first figures in this line, I don't really have much else to gripe about. Now, I don't have the ORIGINAL Trunks, I have the PCE version (Premium Color Edition). Why? Because, the original thing is $185 on Amazon, I don't buy off of Ebay, and he's not on BBTS. I bought the Premium Color edition of Trunks alongside PCE Vegeta. You may see a sword in the image... but mine I had to TAPE the sword onto. Why? Because the plastic on the peg that holds the sword together was absolute crap and snapped after pulling him out of his fricking package! He has a total of 17 points of articulation. His accessories include 10 hands total (5 pairs) and 5 faces (2 base form and 3 SSJ) I hear the original comes with MUCH more than the PCE of the figure. I especially hate how his arm also popped off, as I was shooting a scene in a stop motion and POP! His arm came out of the...[See More]
