The DC Arkham lines may have joint breakage issues but there's no denying the impressive detail and sculpting work that went into them. Both Sickle and his brother Mr. Hammer are wonderfully recreated from the game. I really wish they hadn't made this part of a 2-pack but it is what it is. If you're an Arkham fan, he is a must have. A mini-boss in the game, he is a one-armed brute who wields a massive hammer. The color just pops and he is a beefy figure for his size. I really wish they hadn't made this part of a 2-pack but it is what it is. If you're an Arkham fan, he is a must have. Just good luck finding him for a cheap price nowadays. As with most of McFarlane’s modern lines, we get variants. This is the 3rd or 4th version of Geralt and in my opinion the best because of all the cool accessories he comes with. He’s got his steel and silver swords, a magic fire spell effect for his left hand and of course a wicked cool decapitated griffin head trophy. Arguably the best Jason of the line! The sculpt is impressive with all the exposed flesh and torn cloth - the detail is great. He comes armed/equipped to the teeth with a multitude of gardening tools: an axe, a sickle, a curved scythe, a knife, a bloody spike and of course his trusty machete! But the best accessory is the large weed whacker. He also comes with an alternate head and a split hockey mask (that looks great draped over the weed whacker). NECA continues to kill it with the TMNT franchise, giving us totally tubular Turtles In Time figures complete with hoverboards and stands. Michelangelo comes with his trademark nunchucks and a set of alternate hands. The coolest accessory is his weapon effect attachment that makes it look like he's twirling one of the nunchucks. Mikey is painted with that nifty pixelated look in bright colors that pop. The sculpt is very good though the scale looks closer to 6" than NECA's usual 7" scale. Not a huge deal since the line is consistent and the hoverboards make them taller. Still an aces figure. Righteous!...[See More]

For my 20th review, I choose one of my favorite iterations of Jason Voorhees from 2003's Freddy vs. Jason. The movie is as awesome as it sounds. This version of Jason is massive, recreating Ken Kirzinger's imposing frame and look perfectly and the paint job is aces. However, the best stuff is the accessories. Along with a creepy teddy bear we get two machetes (one bloody), two masks (including a wicked cool bloody variant) and an absolutely gnarly flame effect to recreate the cornfield slaughter from the movie. I have him posed with Freddy from Nightmare 2 with the flame and Pinhead and they all look perfect together. I highly recommend this one - he might be my favorite out of all of NECA's Ultimate Jasons....[See More]

McFarlane has had a lot of missteps while producing early figures but he also put out some truly unique ones, like Jack Frost here. A hulking, icy frost giant with dead trees growing out of his back as he towers over a small mountain village with an enormous tree-like club. The design is wild and the paint is colorful, a nice application of whites, blues and grays to bring out that frozen look. While the scale is off compared to the rest of the Twisted Christmas line, he still looks pretty wild next to the grotesque Killer Snowman....[See More]

An incredible paint job really makes this Target Exclusive worth the double-dip. The colors they used are a vibrant mixture of reds, oranges and yellows that are slightly reflective and really catch the light nicely. The sculpt is the same as the Atomic Blast version but that's fine; a new one wasn't needed. The only reason this doesn't get a perfect 5.0 is because it doesn't come with the atomic blast accessory that the original does. Other than that, this figure is well worth it because it immortalizes my favorite scene from 2019's Godzilla: King of the Monsters....[See More]

Predator was a childhood favorite and remains one of my favorite films today. Out of all the Dutch figures NECA has put out, this one is still my favorite. The scene is iconic and the figure blends right in with my Alien/Predator display, torch held high ready to declare WAR! The sculpt is awesome with muddy pockmarks and leafy chunks along the torso. Dutch comes packin’ with his branch bow, three regular arrows, one grenade arrow, knife spear, grenade spear and gunpowder pouch. The final, and coolest, accessory is the aforementioned torch, precisely crafted and brightly painted....[See More]
