Penguin
Super Powers (Kenner) - Series 1
Rated 5.00 stars by uhhuhhuh
This version of Penguin is the best -- BAR NONE! Its molds have been reused in the 1990's Kenner Batman collection, Super Amigos, and DC Comics Super Heroes. This is the best example of Penguin as far as quality goes. The art work on the packaging is awesome, but what if they could've put the old classic art showing him with one hand on the hat and the other on the umbrella, but it could've still been the umbrella arm action, one way or another. Still, it's eye-catching art work! I've never owned a carded one, but a C-8/9 carded one will go between $35 to $100.00. A C-8/9 loose/complete goes between $14.00 to $23.00. I bought my first loose/complete one for around $14.00 in 1999. I updated the first one by updating it with a new one in 2009 for around $16.00. Now that I've recently bought...[See More]
Parademon
Super Powers (Kenner) - Series 2
Rated 4.50 stars by uhhuhhuh
Though they are tough to stand up, the Parademon figure is an awesome-sculpted figure that is right out of the cartoon and comic! I so liked the way this figure was packaged with the eye-catching art work. This was one of the many carded figures I wanted as a kid, but never got. In 2002, I bought 3 loose/complete figures for $51.00 ($17.00 each) from Plastic Dreams, in Trenton, New Jersey. I have never owned a carded one yet, but a C-8/9 carded figure goes for $30.00 to $45.00. A C-8/9 loose/complete figures go between $15.00 to $20.00 each....[See More]
Orion
Super Powers (Kenner) - Series 3
Rated 4.00 stars by uhhuhhuh
The Orion figure was never seen in stores, like the other carded third series figures. The face changing feature was a new great idea of Kenner. I bought one C-9 loose/complete figure in 2002 for $28.00. I sold it in 2003, and bought a second one for around $14.00. There is a real trick with finding this figure on the card is that there are more Canadian carded than U.S. carded, making the U.S. card much higher! A C8/9 Canadian carded runs between $48.00 to $65.00. A U.S. C-8/9 carded figure will go between $65.00 to $80.00. A C-8/9 loose/complete still goes between $14.00 to $30.00. I FINALLY FOUND IT! I bought a C-9 carded Orion for $69.96, and it was a "buy it now or best offer" that was originally $79.99 or best offer. Orion is common as loose figure or a Canadian release. If you can...[See More]
Mr. Freeze
Super Powers (Kenner) - Series 3
Rated 5.00 stars by uhhuhhuh
Mr. Freeze is an awesome figure! The pulsing freeze ray guns move when you squeeze his legs! Like the other carded third series figures, I never saw it in any stores. I bought 3 different loose figures between $29.00 to $61.00. I have bought 2 different carded versions (both C-7/8) for $24.99 and $57.00. Nowadays,it's getting easier to find. The C-8/9 loose/complete figures go between $25.00 to $36.00. A C-8/9 carded version will go between $25.00 to $100.00....[See More]
Martian Manhunter
Super Powers (Kenner) - Series 2
Rated 5.00 stars by uhhuhhuh
Martian Manhunter was a common one found in the hands of kids in school. He was also in the stores that I went to. I bought my only Martian Manhunter C-9 loose/complete for around $20.00 in 2001, from Zapp! Comics in Wayne, New Jersey. Still to this day, a C8/9 loose/complete goes between $15.00 to $20.00. A C-8/9 carded version goes $27.00 to $36.00....[See More]
Mantis
Super Powers (Kenner) - Series 2
Rated 4.00 stars by uhhuhhuh
Mantis is one of those figures that didn't get a lot of steam in the line, but it was the only figure to have rotating wrists! No one I can recall in school had this one. I bought one for around $10.00 in 2001. Nowadays, a C-8/9 loose/complete runs around $7.00 to $12.00. A C-8/9 carded version goes between $28 to $55.00....[See More]
Lex-Soar 7
Super Powers (Kenner) - Vehicles
Rated 4.50 stars by uhhuhhuh
The Lex-Soar 7 is a really great vehicle to put in the line, but I sure would have like to have seen the mechanical spider vehicle he had in one of the Super Powers episodes. Overall, Kenner took this vehicle and put a lot of detail in it. I liked the idea of the Kryptonite crystal! I bought this C-9 loose/complete for around $17.00 last year. I've saw C-8/9 boxed ones go for $25.00 to $55.00. A C-8/9 loose/complete ones go for $15.00 TO $28.00....[See More]
Lex Luthor
Super Powers (Kenner) - Series 1
Rated 5.00 stars by uhhuhhuh
Lex Luthor is a very common figure in this line, like that of all the first series villains. The idea to introduce his battle armor helped make his figure more appealing. I've bought a couple C-8/9 loose/complete ones for around $8.00 to $10.00 each. A C-8/9 carded version goes for around $20.00 to $30.00. This figure is reasonable to buy anywhere, as it was when it was in the bargain bins of stores in the '80's....[See More]
Kalibak Boulder Bomber
Super Powers (Kenner) - Vehicles
Rated 4.50 stars by uhhuhhuh
The Kalibak Boulder Bomber is a nice vehicle for the line and was a mail-away item for the Canadian Shell small-carded figures. I bought a C-9 loose/complete one on a website with a Kalibak figure for $19.99. I've saw the C-8/9 loose/complete ones go between $16.00 to $26.00. A C-8/9 boxed one runs between $35.00 to $55.00....[See More]
Kalibak
Super Powers (Kenner) - Series 2
Rated 4.00 stars by uhhuhhuh
The Kalibak figure is a great figure, but did not have bending legs. I don't ever remember seeing anyone in school with it, but I saw in the stores. I bought my first one on a resealed card from Old Tyme Toy Store in 2002 for around $16.00. I got a second figure that I sold when I bought the Boulder Bomber with it on a website for $19.99. A C-8/9 loose/complete runs $10.00 to $17.00. A C-8/9 carded one runs from $25.00 to $60.00....[See More]
