Darkseid Destroyer
Super Powers (Kenner) - Vehicles
Rated 4.00 stars by uhhuhhuh
This is one huge ship! I don't recall seeing this one in stores, but it's one that I have never owned. It was the only vehicle in the line to have electronic sounds. A C-8/9 loose/complete one runs between $100.00 to $125.00. A C-8/9 boxed figure will go between $150.00 to $250.00. I hope to finally own one, hopefully mint in box....[See More]
Darkseid
Super Powers (Kenner) - Series 2
Rated 5.00 stars by uhhuhhuh
I was given a Darseid figure in 1989, and was thrown away sometime in 1990. Though the figure was missing his cape and one arm, this figure was cool and Kenner made it on an excellent scale! Though the figure came with a cape, he did not wear one in the cartoon. I bought this figure in 2001 on a cut second series card, which I opened. Not too long ago, I bought a carded one on the rare series three card for $31.62. A C-8/9 loose/complete Darkseid runs between $12.00 to $20.00. A C-8/9 carded Darkseid will go $25.00 to $50.00 for a series two release and $30.00 to $105.00 for the third series release. Still to this day, I think Darkseid would be a great villain for a JLA movie....[See More]
Cyclotron
Super Powers (Kenner) - Series 3
Rated 4.50 stars by uhhuhhuh
Cyclotron was an original idea from Kenner to add into the third series. Though this figure is more common than the other third series characters to find, it is a great resemblance to his likeness in the Super Powers comics. A loose/complete C-8/9 figure will cost between $25.00 to $45.00. The C-8/9 carded version gets between $55.00 to $70.00. This figure's spin action and removable face plate was intersting, but I think other characters could've been considered to take the spot of this one....[See More]
Cyborg
Super Powers (Kenner) - Series 3
Rated 4.75 stars by uhhuhhuh
Cyborg was being heavily marketed by DC in the mid '80's and Kenner delivered THE RAREST FIGURE of the entire line! Like the rest of the carded third series figures, I never saw this toy in any store! I guess they were released in small numbers back then in my area. This figure is perfect in likeness, and had interchangeable hand attachments! This figure is excellent, but did not have bending knees. I bought my first Cyborg loose/ complete figure for $256.00 in 2001. I sold it due to bill problems in 2003, and bought it back in 2005 for $107.50. A C-8/9 loose/complete Cyborg runs between $100.00 to $165.00 nowadays. A C-8/9 carded one goes between $208.00. I lucked out on a website and bought it near mint C-9 card for $205.95. This is the most I've ever paid for a carded action figure to...[See More]
Clark Kent
Super Powers (Kenner) - Mail Order
Rated 5.00 stars by uhhuhhuh
Clark Kent is the only third series figure I actually got to see as a kid. Some kids I was in school with got him via mail order. This figure did look like the comic book alter-ego of Superman. This figure was never put on the card, which in my honest opinion, is a travesty. I bought my first Clark Kent figure for $68.00 in 2002. I had to sell it in 2003 due to bill problems and got it back in 2005 for around $58.00. A C-8/9 Clark Kent will run between $50.00 to $70.00. It's just too bad that we couldn't have Bruce Wayne, monkey Grayson, and Diana Prince made into figures....[See More]
Brainiac
Super Powers (Kenner) - Series 1
Rated 4.50 stars by uhhuhhuh
This is a great version of the Superman foe. I remember when Brainiac went from the bald, green genius to the ultimate robot computer! That moment, in my opinion, boosted Brainiac's fan base. He was made very similar to what looked like a terminator-like robot with an awesome kick! This figure was one of the coolest villains in the line! The only problems I could find on this figure is that the arms can pop off or even break off if you're not careful and that the legs do not bend. I bought this guy on a badly damaged C-6 card in 2001 for $35.00. I would say a Brainiac on a C8/9 card goes between $25.00 to $55.00. A C8/9 loose/complete figure goes for around $15 to $30.00....[See More]
Batmobile
Super Powers (Kenner) - Vehicles
Rated 5.00 stars by uhhuhhuh
This was the best likeness of the batmobile--Period! One of my friends had this as a kid, and we would have Superman, Batman, and Robin (with no capes, lol!)fight against Brainiac and Lex Luthor.I bought my first and only batmobile for around $82.00 in 2002. A C-8/9 loose/complete one runs for around $35 to $89.00. A C-8/9 boxed one runs $165 to $250.00. This toy was totally great as far the detail and the action features with really awesome box art!...[See More]
Batman
Super Powers (Kenner) - Series 1
Rated 5.00 stars by uhhuhhuh
This was one of the hottest action figures to own in the 80's-- PERIOD!I remember as a child in the stores between 1984 to 1986 wishing to own this one. I first saw the super powers assortment ad on the back of my comic books. Shortly thereafter, I started seeing them on TV, then, in the hands of kids at my school! It was great playing with Batman, Superman, Brainiac, and other characters at least for a few minutes, if not forever. I tried to get them as a kid, but my folks didn't really always have around $5.00 to put toward an action figure, so I never owned until around November 1999, when I bought one loose/complete (C-8.5) for around $28.00. Now, a C-8/9 loose/Complete Batman figure will run you $35.00 to $50.00. Carded ones run $80- $110.00.I have bought my first carded one (a...[See More]
Batcopter
Super Powers (Kenner) - Vehicles
Rated 4.90 stars by uhhuhhuh
This is the MOST SOUGHT AFTER VEHICLES in the whole Super Powers line. I won't say that it is the RAREST vehicle (which I believe is the rarest because there is at least one prototype, if not a few more), but it's number one as far as the others that were mass-produced through every series. It took me forever to find it when I could actually afford bidding on it. To get it loose/complete and grading between C-8 to C-9 will possibly run as high as $89.00 to $164.05 (I outbid another bidder on a website by nearly $6.00 for me to get it at this high of a price). A boxed Batcopter probably goes as high as $200.00 to $350.00 in an unopened box, and around $195 to $250 open with box, inserts, etc.. The stickers were misplaced on it, but it doesn't take away the fact that you got one of the...[See More]
Aquaman
Super Powers (Kenner) - Series 1
Rated 4.75 stars by uhhuhhuh
Aquaman was only of three Super Powers figures I owned when I was a kid. My mom bought it at a yard sale for me in 1989 for 50 cents. It didn't have the trident, but it still brought a lot of joy to me. This figure is a great sculpt that was, like all the other characters, very accurate in likeness. Still to this day, it is, in my opinion, the best Aquaman figure ever made!...[See More]
