Trigun - Nicholas D. Wolfwood Revoltech (Kaiyodo) - Basic Series Rated 5.00 stars by durge12 Get him. Even if you know nothing about Trigun, get him. Of the few modern Revoltechs I've encountered (Vash and Fraulein Asuka being the other two) Wolfwood is leaps and bounds ahead and he offers literally everything you could want from him and more.
As is expected of all figures from the far east, Wolfwood comes with a pile of spare parts including fists, gun-holding hands for use with Assemble Borg, gun holding hands with Wolfwood's pistols molded into them, a hand to hold his cross in firing position, an additional hand to hold the piece of plastic used to carry it over his shoulder, a hand to hold one of two tiny cigarettes (Kaiyodo says smoking is okay kids! *note sarcasm), a hand to pose with to look like he is stroking an imaginary beard (fangirls beware- this is fanfic worthy...[See More]
Trigun - Vash the Stampede Revoltech (Kaiyodo) - Basic Series Rated 4.50 stars by durge12 'If you like Trigun then there is no good reason for you not to own this figure' is how I shall start this review because it is true- Revoltech Vash is everything I wanted from a posable Vash and pretty much everything I wanted from a modern Revoltech release. Perfect he is not but i'll get onto that.
He comes with everything you'd come to expect from a japanese action figure- 3 faces, 10 hands, 2 different effects parts, 2 display stands- one of which being an extended version of the classic Revoltech stand and a little orange box to store all of the hands and faces. He is articulated up the wall with revolver joints present in his neck, torso, waist, shoulders, elbows, wrists, thighs, knees, ankles and even in his coat tails. Some joint swappage is required for the additional hands...[See More]
Meryl Stryfe Trigun: Planet Gunsmoke (Kaiyodo) - Basic Series Rated 4.00 stars by durge12 It's certainly an oddity to have a decade old figure that's not a Transformer in my collection but seeing as how Trigun is my favourite anime, its an oddity thats welcome. I saw her floating around on a well known website which I can't name (it rhymes with 'we play') for around $30 which I didn't think was too bad and I figured 'ehh, why not' mostly to stand her next to my Revoltech Vash and Wolfwood. Unpackaging her turned out to be bittersweet but not because shes a bad figure by any margin. The plastic count is off the scale as she comes with a multi- piece display stand in the form of a shot-up bar counter, a suitcase that opens and can contain things (among which are a small sub machine gun, a typewriter, and some additonal treats that are more for display than play value), some...[See More]
