Ah, one of my very first Batman action figures. It is quite a detailed toy for mass production, which it obviously went through. The detail even on the Joker?s lips is very stunning. The DC action figures and characters in general are smaller in comparison to the Marvel characters and action figures. I still find them to be about the right size. The Marvel action figures seemed to be a bit clumsy. I did enjoy the pogo stick accessory. It was a touch that some characters just need. It showed the Joker to be comical yet serious. It would have been nicer if the pogo stick worked properly. It is slightly awkward and does not function as well as it probably should, it was still a nice touch to an already detailed figure. What a toy. Strong and sturdy as well as durable. It is in all but mint condition after having it out of the box for almost nine years. The detail was not as extraordinary as some of the figures I have seen in the series. Although Nightwing never had a detailed costume but they could have made an effort when designing the toy to include small but recognizable details. The accessories however are much higher quality than one of the figures counterparts, Batman (Detective). All of the accessories(Ray Gun, Magnifying Decoder and Jetpack/Glider) were made of hard plastic to prevent bending and breaking of the smaller pieces. I was surprised by it's durability in the long run after so many years out of the box I would have thought that it would be loosing color and paint would be coming off to reveal a different color. The overall toy is a great. Batman's large figure models him perfectly from off of the TV series. They didn't miss a beat when designing they toy. Very nice detail on the arm cuffs and the utility belt. The mobility of the figure itself is outstanding. Even though, like most DC action figures the elbow and knee joints do not move, Batman was able to be set in a number of classic poses. The accessories were quite enjoyable.
