Danger Girl Reviews
Dangerous Curves Ahead Danger Girl (McFarlane) - Special Editions Rated 2.50 stars by somebody1 I bought this as an alternative to buying all 3 figures separately for a project. They're the exact same figures except they have pegs on their feet to fit into the base. The base also features a stack of skulls and an old wall you saw come with the individual figures. That's the only good thing that can be said of the base. It's nothing but super thing brittle plastic that reminds one of those hollow plastic railroad mountains/tunnels you get for train sets. It's never meant to be taken out of the package. The package itself is a very nice container that would make a good protective packaging for the figures once you created a new base. Overall it's the same figures glued to a base so unless you plan to just display it splurge and get the loose figures. UPDATE: I just got a better look...[See More]
Sydney Savage Danger Girl (McFarlane) - Basic Series Rated 3.50 stars by somebody1 This is a rather odd series considering it is made by McFarlane. It is very much like the old lines from the company before the figures all got smaller. The Australian member of the team who is always in trouble for her methods even though she usually ends up proving herself to have been right. She isn't above using her looks to get the job done and has a weakness for fancy clothes. She also has been seen flirting with Bruce Wayne. I'll cover the accessories first because they out did themselves with these. The display base for her features an Australian scene featuring a swamp base with her name on it with a large croc and some fencing posts with real string holding them together. Her only accessory is her whip which looks a bit generic and doesn't stay in her hand all that well....[See More]
Natalia Kassle Danger Girl (McFarlane) - Basic Series Rated 3.50 stars by somebody1 This is a rather odd series considering it is made by McFarlane. It is very much like the old lines from the company before the figures all got smaller. The former KGB officer and field commander of Danger Girl she turned out to be a double agent for the Hammer Empire and is the only DG agent to ever go bad. She is currently a general for the Hammer Empire and wants little more than to take over the world and kill Abby Chase. I'll cover the accessories first because they out did themselves with these. The display base for her features an arctic diorama featuring a snowy base with her name on it and frosted pieces of semi soft plastic made to look like sheets of ice. The The trio of various sized combat knives do not stay in her hand very well. Abby's a bit low on articulation which isn't...[See More]
Abbey Chase Danger Girl (McFarlane) - Basic Series Rated 3.50 stars by somebody1 This is a rather odd series considering it is made by McFarlane. It is very much like the old lines from the company before the figures all got smaller. Abby is the main character of the Danger Girl comics, a former adventurer and treasure hunter, and responsible for getting the Danger Girls to defeat the Hammer empire and soon after she became an agent within the covert operations group. She replaced Natalia Kassle as the team's field-commander. I'll cover the accessories first because they out did themselves with these. The display base for her features a jungle diorama featuring skulls, bamboo, plants, a main part with her name on it, and a chunk of temple. The handgun accessory is okay but tends not to stay in her hand very well. Abby's a bit low on articulation which isn't too...[See More]
The base of these danger girls are awesome, I used two of them for my customs.
Dangerous Curves Ahead Danger Girl (McFarlane) - Special Editions Rated 4.70 stars by Henchmen4Hire Espionage, danger, sexy women provocatively-dressed with guns and knives, who would have guessed the Danger Girl comic would take off so well? Shamefully, I don't know much about the Danger Girls due to lack of income while growing up which led to the lack of awesome comics, but a little research goes a long way!
Sydney Savage - Prefers to use the shapely curves of her body than the curves of any gun or knife to subdue an opponent, but will use a sniper rifle when required. Likes to use bullwhips too (maybe the black full-body cat-suit tipped you off?).
Abbey Chase - Champion marksman with most small firearms. Knowledgeable in world history, archeology, and many, many languages. Leader of the Danger Girl team.
Natalia Kassle - The Russian spy who won't love you. An expert at...[See More]
