Oh no, it's Voldo, the crazy S&M guy of Soul Calibur!!! Basically, this is another Todd MacFarlane Soul Calibur statuette, and let me say I am quite impressed. Quite. It seems Mr. MacFarlane has taken several creative liberties and changed up Voldo's costume quite a bit, surprisingly for the better. A few examples are doing away with the creepy head gear, adding a shoulder cloth, and giving him a removable ornament of a giant claw that can be placed on his back. I'm no fan of Voldo, and I only got him, because like all other good figures you never thought you'd want, he came in a lot of figures. Basically, his articulation is as limited as any of the other Soul Calibur figures (if you can call them figures). Necrid

Necrid is a cool character, designed by Todd MacFarlane, with a cool move set from other characters. For some reason critics didn't like him, but critics never like anything. One thing that immediately makes this figure great is that he is in his alternate costume, orange with a gas mask, as opposed to the unappealing green ogre. He's really just a statuette, but he has more articulation than other figures in that style (I'm looking at you Watchmen figures). With these figures it's all about the quality of the sculpt, and in this case, it's amazing. I'm usually for the figures with basic colors instead of out of control detail and shading, but I love this statuette figure thing, whatever you want to call it. Nightmare

Soul Calibur isn't my favorite series, but Nightmare is my favorite character from it, and his Soul Calibur II costume is definitely the best, so when I saw this I immediately bought it. He's much smaller than you'd think from the pictures, though his god like sculpt makes him look like he's about a foot tall, he's really only about 4 inches, which works to his advantage because it looks even better, especially when compared to other figures in this scale. He has minor articulation because he's really more of a statuette than a figure, but it has good articulation for a statuette. As I said, the sculpt is downright breathtaking, probably the best in my collection, and the paint apps are perfect to the point where it looks exactly like the render online.
