AzraelI've gotta say, as you may know by now I am a fan of Venom and Symbiotes everywhere, sadly, this Venom doesn't necessarily meet my standard. Let's start with the fact that this is essentially the Planet of the Symbiotes Lasher with different hands feet and head, hell even the action feature is present (though it doesn't work, which causes a bit of confusion among casual toy buyers). I suppose the blue wash would look decent if it was applied evenly, but it's not, there's dark blue on the legs and a thick bright blue on the shoulders, it's a bit irritating to look at. I guess the bottom line (yes I'm getting to it a bit quicker than usual, there's not a lot to talk about here) is that this figure doesn't really WOW me, it barely even MEHs me. It's just a bad figure. Well not bad as in...[

AzraelSPIDER-MAN UNLIMITED! Yeah, that's right, this amazing costume has been transformed into toy form by our lord and savior of the industry, Toy Biz! With wonderful paint apps and articulation (minus the one arm, who's hindered by an action feature). The only thing missing from this is a cartoon accurate face (not complaining too much) and a cape (apparently I'm the only one who liked that part). It comes with a fun Venom display (originally Venom 2099, what happened to that?) jumping out from behind a box. Toy target practice I suppose. Hey, everyone needs to brush up on their skills occasionally right? Anyway, I could continue on my fanboy crazy rant, but all I can say in the end is that I enjoy this figure so much, that even the action feature doesn't annoy me, and I just use the cape...[

CarnageSpider-Man (2000) (Toy Biz) - Series 8

AzraelThis right here is my ideal Carnage figure. There's so much going for it. To start, it's got someone other figures don't, a decent mix of both red AND black. Reading the comics, I believe Carnage should have black EVERYWHERE, and this guy has that. In terms of articulation, he's pretty good, he's got the standard ML articulation, with point on his thumb, index, and other fingers, and because of this, he beats out older Carnage figures with paint jobs that were just as good. I compared this to the newer Carnage, the repainted one Hasbro shipped out, and I'm happy to say that while the other one looks cleaner, I like this one, because Carnage isn't clean, he's a freaking serial killer, and he's insane, so it only goes to say that his paint apps should match who he is, crazy and awesome. So...[

TheGreyGooseWow, where to start? How about we start from the minute I walked into my local comic shop, the one only a mile away from me, Tate's the official (they have a trophy) greatest comic shop in the world. Basically, I walked in there with about 12 bucks, and I said to myself, "I wan' sum figgers" so I go over to the Marvel section and look at the Superhero Showdowns, sadly the only had Human Torch and Green Goblin, so I looks down to the Spider-man figures, and I find, well, you guessed it, Hobgoblin! He looks pretty cool, but not like the HObgoblin I've grown accustomed too, I check the price tag, and what do youu know, 12 dollars it costs (little more tha usual, but they go for suggested retail price, (jerks). So I go to the counter, ring it up, and run home as fast as my puny legs can take...[

Ultimate RhinoSpider-Man (2000) (Toy Biz) - Series 9

Collector1Unlike previous versions of the Rhino, Ultimate Rhino's costume is far more robotic and mechanical than seen before. They were able to carry this over into toy form fairly well with a great sculpt and good articulation. Rhino would be absolutly massive if they hadn't sacraficed articulation for an action gimmick the requires his right leg to be premanatly bent and his left leg stretched out to his side. Squeezing his legs togther makes his upperbody twist, head ram upward and right arm smash down.
Like I said before, the sculpt is great with thick gray pieces of rhino-hide like armor covering most of the suit but mechanical parts visible in places. The armor is covered with dents and scars to simulate battle damage from powerful weapons and probably him smashing through buildings. The...[

Spider-Man (Magnetic)Spider-Man (2000) (Toy Biz) - Series 1

Collector1Gifted with all the powers and abilities of a spider by the bite of an radiated arachnid, Peter Parker learned a hard lesson that with great power, there must also come great responsibility. Dawning a costume themed after the eight legged invertebrate, Peter Parker becomes the spectacular, the amazing, The Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man!
One of Spider-Man's most astounding powers is his ability to climb almost any surface unaided by simply pressing his hands and feet against it. Magnetic Spider-Man allows you to simulate this (forgive me!) amazing power by the use of small magnets located in his feet and a magnetized base.
A window with the famed chief editor of the Daily Bugle, J. Jonah Jameson, leaning out the window with his phone's receiver stuck to his face by a blob of...[
