Spidermancustoms2005This figure is the same mold as the spider-man series mysterio by toy biz. So he has the awful porpotions that loosecollector mentioned in his mysterio custom. And has this awful paint job. Hasbro messes up most of there marvel toys. They did a pretty pathetic job by taking toy biz figures and giving them lackluster paint job....[

VenomSpider-Man Origins (Hasbro) - Series 2

TheGreyGooseWow, that's alll I can say about this amazingly horrible Venom figure. Don't get me wrong, there's been worse, but this closer to the bottom than the top. Venom has horrible articulation, his legs move in a slant, like you're supposed to squeeze his leg, but he does nothing. His waist only turns in one direction, and in addition to the fact that his arms are underarticulated, his hands are in a horrible position, so it looks like he's choking you and pointing to something at the same time. I think my least favorite part of this figure is the horrific paint apps. They do the same thing the do on MU Black spiderman, they add a blue tint, however, they do it all blochy, where it goes from dark blue in one area to sky blue in another. And just like all figures with his kind of head, there's a...[

TheGreyGooseSpider-man has worn many temporary costumes over his long career, however, the Stark Armor has to eb my absolute favorite, I think that the waldoes (the little arms on his back, yes, they're called waldoes) are what make it so cool, like you finally have the sense he's a "Spider" man. This figure is everything Hasbro's Marvel Legends should be, modern, cool, and well articulated. That's right, well articulated. Iron Spider, in addition to the standard HML points, has articulation in his fingers, individually, the way Toy Biz used to do it, his waldoes are also pretty felxible too. There's nothing you can say you don't like about this figure, however, I have the translucent variant, and it's not as cool as the metallic one, and the difference is noticeable, I look at the pictures side by...[

Vash_15For some reason, even though the 2099 line has been gone until recently, Spider-man 2099 continues to get action figures. Why the choose him over Spider-man Unlimited I'll never understand, but that doesn't mean I like him any less. Spider-man 2099 is a pretty cool figure, his shiny paitn apps give you kind of an armor feel, but it works well with his look. The cape has rubber rings that go around his arm, so it's better than ones that just clip to his neck. His arm articulation is pretty good, and while it only has limited finger articulation, it's better than nothing. The head isn't ball jointed, which while isn't a problem in posability, swivel necks usually end up with a line arching from one side of the neck, over the head, to the other side of the neck. It isn't easily noticeable,...[

Henchmen4HireThis is a shady figure. Lol. Seriously though, this thing is creepy, just like he's supposed to be. It looks evil with that tribal-tattoo spider-skull symbol. You really shouldn't turn your back to this guy, he might suck your blood or something.
Spidey 2099 is the result of lazy/cheap Hasbro trying to re-paint old crappy figures to hopefully sell them. The hips are the biggest problem here, Spids has an old standard T-crotch. The legs are splayed-out so the feet have to be in awkward positions to hold him upright. This could have been an beautiful figure, the paint-job is phenomenally awesome!, but that stupid semi-crouching pose he's stuck in killed that dream. This fig looks good in classic Spiderman action poses, but they're limited because the knees don't bend all the way...[

Collector1So, one day a couple of years ago, I was strollen through Wal*Mart, looking for something that would look good on my shelves. I passed by the rack containing the Spider-Man Origins toy line. And I promptly did a spit take.
I echo Doc. Nightmare at how fast they got Iron-Spider out in toy form! And it is clearly a rush job of the highest catagory.
The figure is very slim and looks like a gymnasts body, something that fits right in with Spider-Man. The figure features a massive load of articulation with each individual finger (save the thumbs) having movement.
However, the joints are so insanely tight, I was afraid to move him to much for fear of breaking him. Only with time and carefully pulls and push did he finally loosen up, but even still, I start sweating when I try to pose this...[

Collector1After an experiment meant to regenerate his lost arm, Doctor Curt Connors was transformed into the horrible Lizard! With strenght, speed, and agility rivialing Spider-Man's own, can the web-slinger stop The Lizard and save Curt Connors from himself?
Twelve points of articulation, incredible sculpt and a tiny tinnie picture of the original face of Doctor Connors ala Steve Ditko on The Lizard name tag, what is not to love about the Lizard?
Well, for one thing, the son of saurian can't stand on his own worth cow poo! I had the misfortune of purchasing this fellow without a stand. Appaerntly it was either not put in at the factory or one of the employies cracked the case, took the stand and resealed it. I'll take the factory explanation.
Thankfully, his tail acts as a wonderful kickstand,...[

Collector1Bonded with an alien Symbiote, disgraced newspaper reporter and photographer, Eddie Brock's own psychosis and need for revenge becomes all consuming when he learns all needs too about the man he blames for his ruined life: The Amazing Spider-Man!
Eddie Brock, now known as Venom, has only three known weaknesses; extreme heat, sonic, and mind blowingly bad articulation!
Venom's waist can only be turned in one direction, meaning is you want him to get back to facing forward, you have to keep turning him. His legs are far spaced which makes it hard to get both legs on the base unless you put him in a crouching position.
The Lethal Protectors feet are oddly small and seem fragile. Something else that was wrong with the figure was that one of the foot holes was to small! This was fixed...[

Collector1Before Venom, before Eddie Brock, and LONG before over exposure and bad editorial choices ruined a potentially incredible character that could have over shadowed even Norman Osborn, there was the Black Costume. Now, this dark part of the Spider-Man Legacy is brought to you in the form of Symbiote Spider-Man.
In scale, and theme of releases, with the rest of the Spider-Man Origins line, Symbiote Spider-Man is made of black plastic and hard rubber with the famed reach around spider symbol painted on in shining silver paint.
Featuring roughly 27 points of articulation, Symbiote Spider-Man is highly pose able, allowing a multitude of dramatic positions.
Symbiote Spider-Man includes a high tech glider whose wings are made from cloth pattered after the classic Spider-Man costume.
