I may be sounding like a broken record, but Jada's Street Fighter figures are great, thanks to top-notch quality and articulation for a price not too far off from the work of big wigs like Hasbro and McFarlane. I was able to acquire two more through Target recently, and they’re the last ones for now until Jada gets to work on putting more up for pre-order. I'll start with Fei Long, since he came first alongside Ryu. He's basically the Bruce Lee of the SF universe, most notably in the face. He bears an intense glare similar to the late martial arts legend, and a somewhat similar hairstyle as well. It looks like face printing was done for the head, as the eyes are rather clean, but the eyebrows could be a little nicer. Although they've been putting figures out at a slow rate, Jada's Street Fighter line has proven promising, showing off fully-posable and well-made characters for good prices, and I await the next couple of pre-orders. I covered Chun-Li a while ago, and now it's time to look at the major player of the franchise. Ryu is designed not just after how he appears in SFII, but much of the franchise in general. He has his typical stoic expression by default, but it can be swapped out for an alternate head with a fiercer look. Most of the hair and the headband tie are a separate bit of softer material on top of the heads, with the tie flowing differently on both portraits. Befitting a popular fighting game, Street Fighter has received plenty of action figure lines. The first one (related to the games, not the movie) was by ReSaurus, and it was succeeded years later by the much better and longer-lasted SOTA line. Storm Collectibles' line serves as the most recent major one, with plenty of figures, but being produced overseas means they're sorta pricey. Thankfully, Jada Toys is giving us a cheaper option, and they're going through it slowly, but with promising-looking figures. It took me until their third release to actually get something from their line, but said figure is Chun-Li, one of my favorite characters from the series.
