somebody1I was fascinated by these little buggers in the show. Transformers that were barely sentient and were considered to be a pest like ants. Sadly the figure is as annoying to us as the Scrapmetals are to the Transformers. It seemed to be an after thought to make these figures. They are mostly molded in color, a red or the orange variant, with other colors thrown in. The articulation is sloppy thanks to the complicated transformation procedure and it is easy to get stuck transformering the figure if you aren't careful. The sculpt of the head is very basic and features the barest of paint jobs. You get no weapons aside from the tail weapon that flips out. The "vehicle" mode is the most interesting as it is some kind of 4 legged mecha. In the cartoon one of the characters rebuilds one into a...[

somebody1This is a monster of a figure. It represents Starscream's giant form in the Cybertron tv series. It is pretty well detailed, basically being just a blown up version of his normal cybertron form, and most of it is molded in color so paint is limited. The articulation isn't as good as it could have been compared to other Cybertron figures like Primus though. The crown is a nice touch and an interesting nod to the G1 starscream crown from the 1986 movie. Transforming the figure is pretty easy as it is a very basic figure when you get down to it. I would have liked them to have maybe gone a bit more over the top with the crown by adding the cape and shoulder pads G1 style. There are no weapons aside from those built into him. Again he would have benefited with more weaponry. The sculpting on...[

Collector1I got this guy a while back in a double pack with the Galaxy Force Optimus Prime. A typical scout class transformer, Brakedown is small and simple to transform from a Velocitronian racer to robot.
The design seems to be inspired by the canceled Transformers toyline, Transtech which was supposed to continue the Beast Era while ressurecting some of the original characters like the original Megatron and Optimus Prime in new more high tech bodies, specifically the Cheetor design. The paint scheme is pretty neat with a good amount of yellow, translucent plastic making up his sword, window, front and rear wheel and the little hood on the back of his head.
The transformation is pretty simple. From vehicle mode, remove the front top piece with the piece of yellow plastic going down its...[
