Deadpool (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) Review
Deadpool X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Hasbro)Yes I know, this is not the Deadpool you know and love, this is a travesty, and you must hate me for buying the figure. Well you shouldn't. Plain and simple, he's a great figure! While movie Deadpool (I call him Dudepeel) isn't what we wanted him to be, he is what he is and we can't change it. But I was on the prowl one day and when Is aw him, I gave in to temptation, thinking if I did this is was spitting in Deadpool's face, well it wasn't. While Dudepeel may not have wrist articulation, he looks a lot better than he did in the movie. His tattoos are more noticable, even though the ones on his chest may be a little off, he has the most consisitently good paint apps of this line. The wrist bandages the put on his forearms actually look cool, and the shaved head is a bit more entertaining than just being bald. Finding a cool way to pose this guy is as easy as it should be with all figures, and he's pretty stable, unlike other figures which have gimpy legs. The only down side is that he doesn't come with accesories (Yes the blades could have been removable, it's not like once they're out the stay out). So if you can get past the fact that this isn't our favorite Merc With The Mouth, then you should go buy him, especially because he's the second msot available, behind SWAT Mission Wolverine (nobody wants him, I can't blame them).
