Watchmen (DC Direct)Rorschach is one of my favorite DC characters, and I was elated to see he finally got a figure. Sadly, this doesn't quite meet expectations. I wouldn't go as far to call this an action figure as much as a statue with articulation. Which is pretty much what it is. And with that in mind, he's actually pretty cool. The only problem with that is that his pose is kind of, um, I think the perfect word would be, strange. His legs are funny looking, his arms look like he was ready to go beat up some thugs if his legs would let him, and his head is tilted in a way that says "you really think I'm gonna buy that?" pretty sarcastic and out of character. This figure has some great paint apps and details though, as I can't spot a single mistake or stray mark, and if he was in a better pose, he would be perfect. But since he isn't, and since this is the only Rorschach figure we're probably ever going to get (unless DCUC comes out with a Watchmen line, which should have been done instead of getting DC Direct) so I really can't complain until we get a better one.
