Mortal Kombat (Palisades) (Palisades)In case you guys haven't notice, I've been getting it on with the MK figures. Got into a couple of lucky trades. Basically, if any of you remember my review of Mortal Kombat Deception Sub-Zero, I was talking about how one thing I really didn't like was the fact that one of his hands was giving a thumbs up, well, in this figure, they both kind of look thumbs up-y. However, disregarding that, this may be the coolest and most well done of the MK figures. His paint apps are great, I like how his arms fade from ice to skin. Moreover, he's the best painted of any of the Mortal Kombat figures, the sculpt is every bit as good as the paint apps. I must say that this would be my favorite of all of Jazwares' Mortal Kombat figures if not for the fact that my favorite character is Reptile, and my favorite Sub-Zero costume is the one from Deception, I don't mind that it looks like Shredder. If you want a Sub-Zero figure though, I'd go for this one, if not just because it's better than the GI Joe one, and it's much less expensive than the Deception one (which I was happy to get in a trade, god those things are expensive).
