Deadpool
Marvel Universe (Toy Biz)Well, let me start by saying, I know, I know, everyone loves Deadpool, and I was shocked I was able to get this for a decent price. Basically I got him and 3 others from this line because they only spelled Deadpool as "Dead" (typos are the best thing to happen to a website since Buy It Now). So basically, Deadpool has a reused body, which unfortunately has some Rob Liefield qualities to it (basically the torso is more muscular than the legs, which are sort of slender), this body was used on Nick Fury, and a few others. The paint apps however, are great, and definitely turn that tired old body into Deadpool. Like every other figure in this line, he has the basic 9 points of articulation (knees, elbows, shoulders, hips, head) and comes with two sword, unless you do some fidgeting, he can only use one. And I'm not sure if this is just mine, but one of his swords has one blade, and one has two, but at least it's not hard to pose him in a way that looks at elast SEMI cool, unlike most TBMUs. His face is a funny little optical illusion, because while it looks like his eyes are ovals from afar, up close, you can tell he's actually squinting in this weird shape that resembles this character "~" and it's kind of ugly. Well, the bottom line is that Deadpool isn't the best figure in terms of greatness, and he's got his highs and lows in terms of TBMUs, but he's definitely not bad.
