Terminator 2 (Neca) (Neca)It has been nearly 20 years since I saw the film that would become my all time favorite, and though I love the Kenner action figures from the 90's, I don't think they did the film as much justice as this one! I picked this up, not entirely convinced that I should, since I was looking for the Cyberdyne Showdown (CS) version, which was sold out at the store. I'm glad I did, because even though it does not come with all the accessories that the CS has, it boasts a very impressive sculpt, perhaps even more exciting due to the fact that you can see the endoskeleton skull where the skin has been blasted off. Being a huge fan of the film, I can say that the likeness is nearly perfect. Though Arnold's face doesn't look *quite* right from every angle, it is very, very close, and the endoskeleton parts in the face and knee were done very accurately. The belt, and "vest" portion of his jacket are rubbery, with a very realistic texture. He comes with a grenade launcher, with damage to the stock like in the final portion of the film, and an extra head with less damage, similar to the shootout scene in the Cyberdyne lobby. The only thing I would have liked is for more poseability, he looks really great in a few poses, but he is only really meant for those, and it would have been nice to have him lie down looking up while aiming his grenade launcher, as in the film's climax.
