Iron Man 2 - 2010 Movie (Hasbro)First of all, I would like too, for once, give a big thank you to Hasbro. They actually made a great figure. Now let's get down to business. First off the sculpt is great. It looks just like War Machine does in the movie. It is really detailed even down to the model numbers on him. To my knowledge there are two variations of him the one I got is the movie accurate red eyes, ark reactor, and repulsors. I haven't seen the other one in stores but according to the back the figure is supposed to have blue eye, ark reactor ext. But , enough of that let's go the the articulation. Mr. Machine here has a ball joint head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel arms, double jointed elbows, ball-in-socket wrists, ball jointed (or hinged or whatever hasbro usually does there) mid-torso, tight ball-hinged hips, swivel legs, really well sculpted double-jointed knees, ball-in-socket feet, and the gun on his back has a hinge and swivel. One of my small gripes with the figure is that he has no waist movement, but it is a small thing and does not matter. Now for his accessories. War Machine was I can only assume is a rocket launcher that can connect to his shoulder. He also comes with three sets of hands. The first pair are fists that I myself usually use on display. The next pair are open hands that could be used for having him claw the ground while being dragged away by Fin Fang Foom, or having him choking Whiplash. The last pair, well I'm not sure exactly what they are for, but they look like good gun-holding hands to me. The last accessory (if you can call it that) is the ammo for his gun. One end attaches to the side of his gun and the other attaches to his back. The only problem is that is is not quite long enough and if you move it around to much it will come out. My final thoughts: go buy this figure! In my mind this is the definitive War Machine and a great figure to add to the old vault.
