Mr. Freeze DC Super Heroes (Mattel) (Mattel)Hello everyone, this is my first time reviewing anything but I thought I'd give it a shot! This figure was the one that I first started with after deciding to get all of Batman's rogue gallery. Mr Freeze has always been one of my favorite baddies even after less than grand movie. This guy is really cool(pun intended) though, solid and with big feet so I doubt you'll have trouble with him falling much. Packaging- I'm not really a person who cars too much about the packaging or keeping them in the package. One thing I'd like to note about this guy though is that he came with a small Batman Comic featuring Poison Ivy and Catwoman. Very cool in my opinion. Sculpt- Love the work on this guy, his suit's got a neat cybernetic look that's also big a clunky(But it works on him!). He has two different variants of the face. One with red goggles and one without. Personally my favorite is the one without goggles but I ending up having to settle for the one with goggles and very angry looking face. His face is covered up with a Jetsons style plastic tube. Accessories- His only Accessory is with big ol' freeze gun! It has a look of icicles and frost down the barrel and hooks up to his metal icepack of sorts on his back with some cool looking plastic tubes. The backpack itself hooks up to his metal gloves on his arms. His blaster is supposed to shoot water, but I has yet to actually try that. The tubes in his arms are able to be removed and well as the backpack leaving him a little less intimidating! You also can't have him wear the pack without the gun, due to them being attached(and used as a water gun). Paint- The paint could be better. I much prefer the NYC Comic Con exclusive metallic blue coloring. Besides that all of his points are colored a dark blue matching the rest of him with metallic silver accents his blaster, backpack, helmet and undersides of his arms/chest has a very ice frost effect though. Articulation- Not much. His head movement is connected with his swivel waist or if you want to move one you have to move both. His knees have joints but his feet do not. He also has joints in his shoulders, mid arm, top of the legs and turning on the gloves. His hands have pretty much hold his gun without much force. Well that's pretty much it. I would recommend this figure for anyone who needs a Mr Freeze for their collection or just love Batman baddies :D ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
