G.I. Joe - Rise of Cobra (Hasbro)This is an AMAZING figure! Could just be because I'm a sucker for accessories, and this guy has more accessories than any other figure in the line, but still. Once you strip the guy of all his accessories, he's nothing special, but doing that would take time! He comes with a knife which fits into a holster on the side of his leg, a pair of flippers that attach to the backs of his legs, a removable leg harness, all the gear on his torso is removable, a removable helmet (I use the word removable a LOT in this review), goggles that come off the helmet, a sub machine gun, and what appears to be a sniper of some kind with a folding stock and a removable bi-pod and magazine. That's right. The accessory has accessories. His accessories circumvent a TON of his articulation, but once you remove them, he has a ball-jointed neck, ball-hinged shoulders, ball-hinged elbows, swivel wrists, a ball-hinged torso, ball-hinged legs, knees that bend at two points (which is AWESOME), and ball-hinged ankles. One more noteworthy thing about this guy is that where most Rise of Cobra figures have a bulky spring-loaded missile launcher, this guy has it in the form of a big back pack thing that's almost as big as he is. It has wings and propellers, and shoots a missile from the back of it when a button is pressed. Bizarre and unrealistic, but EXTREMELY fun for some reason. All in all, one of my favorite Rise of Cobra figures if not my favorite. I doubt you could find a figure that packs more for $5.00. Five stars. End of discussion.
