Marcus Fenix Gears of War (Neca)The sculpt and detail on the figure is very good but the quality control isn't. This is the 2nd one of these figures I've owned and the 2nd one to have his left arm fall off at the elbow, the joint is broke, while coming out of the package. The paint on the figure is above average for NECA with good flesh tones and no paint rub or flaking. The pouches on both of mine were very loose as they simply snap/glue into the rubber belt they have on him. The Lancer rifle/chainsaw they gave him is okay but as usual it is slightly warped and made of pretty soft plastics. The figure advertises improved articulation but NECA's idea of articulation is a bit lacking. The head, arms, elbows (when not broken), ankles, knees, and wrists are about it which makes it just barely a statue. I plan on using this current one as the base for a custom so it isn't as bad as it could be but still annoying. The detail on his face is the crowning touch on this figure and actually looks better than the in game version of him. The tiny amount of detail carved into his face tells you more with one look than the storyline lets go in the entire game. 2.0 out of 5 for the busted up elbow again. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
