Captain America Marvel Select (Diamond Select)Captain America: The First Avenger may have divided opinions, but one thing is right: the suit made for Captain America is awesome! It took the classic look of the character and insert in a world plagued by the WWII, using realistic elements. Diamond Select could translated it into plastic very well. This Marvel Select Cap has a highly detailed sculpt. The head bears a slight remembrance of Chris Evans with the mask (in this case, is more of a helmet). All we see in the movie is here: the texture of the fabric of military clothes and leather, the buckles and pins, the pouches, etc. The figure is well painted. Some washes give it an effect of 'worn' suit. The white parts are somewhat 'dirty', adding realism to the figure. The pallet of colours is the closest possible to the movie, although the tone of blue is slightly different than we see in the screen. The articulations does not work so well. They are a bit hardened, not allowing a great deal of poses. The use of a hair dryer is recommended to flexibilize the joints. Even so, it misses some articulations. An ankle pivot in the feet would be great. The figure come with a display stand representing the device who guards the Tesseract (in fact, is part of the display, you must have the Marvel Select Red Skull to complete it), a gun (who fits well in the holster and in the figure's right hand) and, of course, the shield. The shield is beautiful, it have a lot of details and a metallic paint. The only problem is that it don't fit well in the left arm and you can't hold it in the back of the Cap. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
