Not a huge fan of Mezco, but I just had to have this.

Debbie was a victim from the 4th Nightmare on Elm Street film. She was unfortunate enough to be turned into a cockroach. I guess Freddy was bugging her. The sculpt isn’t a perfect resemblance, but it does look enough like the actress. The body detail is good. There will be complaints about the minimal design, but it’s movie accurate. The cockroach arms are very detailed and Mezco really pulled it off in that department. They’re the most distinctive part of the figure, so it was important to get them spot on. They did.

This figure comes with some strange accessories. The first is the base. It’s designed to look like the roach hotel floor, as well as keeping this top-heavy figure standing. This is done very well, with some nice detail. The other accessories are a bit random. You get the two severed arms that don’t fit into the joint slots, so they pretty much just lie on the ground. You also get a miniature roach box, which doesn’t really make sense seeing as Debbie is already in it. Still, these aren’t negatives as Mezco didn’t need to provide them at all.

The best thing about this figure is the fact that it exists at all. Mezco should be applauded for doing such an obscure victim character. It’s a creative approach to what collectors might like, and they also followed this up with a Nancy figure. For any Nightmare on Elm Street fans I’d highly recommend getting this whilst the prices are still low, as it’s fairly unique.
