Write a Review link for that item. MegaMan NT Warrior (Mattel)First I must ask - why WindMan? (or WindblastMan as the packaging calls him) The other characters released in 5" scale were all key navis at some point of either the games or the anime: GutsMan was a close frenemy, ProtoMan was the aloof "someone better" rival, FireMan (TorchMan) was the first actual enemy in all media, Bass was a main (and powerful) enemy in the games, and MagnetMan was the lead bad Navi for a while in the anime Stream season. But WindMan? Appeared in just one game and one anime episode. One would have expected Roll, Shademan or Slur instead. Not to say that the figure is bad (it isn't perfect either). The sculpt has a great resemblance to the character, though the clenched fists don't fit him, maybe they'd fit with his classic Mega Man counterpart, which he resembles by keeping the two fans on the shoulders, the knight-like faceplate and a protruding "hair", though way smaller then classic Wind Man's braid. When it's about articulation, I expect the big five, or at the very least shoulder articulation, and I'm happy with it, and there is where my main nitpick is: this figure has no shoulder articulation. WindMan can partly raise his arms due to elbow articulation, but Mattel still neglected the most basic articulation despite keeping it in elbows, legs and knees. The action feature was unobstrusive, so that's no excuse. About the aforementioned action feature, WindMan shoots his fans from the shoulders, which is a nice way to represent in a phisical way his fans shooting wind. Coming from a 5 and downwards, the unfitting clenched fists rest him half a star and the lack of shoulder articulation takes a whole star away, giving him 3 and a half.    by DAMartin |
