Legolas Greenleaf Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey (Bridge Direct)It’s ok. If you want a Legolas figure that is wearing his introductorary costume I’d buy it otherwise stick with Toybiz. I think again these figures just show their flaws with a simple lack of overall detail, realism and scale issues. There’s some effort put into the torso and the boots but the arms are simplistic and lack articulation which is a must for a Legolas but when you can barely get him to pose in a firing stance you have an issue as well as his bow isn’t even strung so he isn’t firing anything anytime soon. His knives are just a bit too small but nicely painted but again Toybiz did a better job from the start with their first Legolas figure. Due to the tunic being over his legs he can only stand upright so one would recomend cuting skits on not sides so he can pose or replacing the green with cloth, but hen you get his height issue as he’s just too small and needs to be taller, whereas the Toybiz figures were always too tall for Legolas so making him shorter and taller to get the right height is important otherwise he is just in an odd scale and he has only small hands in scale with the rest of him so swap them with Toybiz ones! I think the headsculpt definitely reads an older Orlando Bloom despite its simplicity but overall the lack of poseability and some sloppy details prevent this Legolas from being very good. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
