3D Animation from Japan (McFarlane)MacFarlane's 20+ year old portrayal of the cocky antihero of the anime classic AKIRA still represents one of the only options fans of the character have for including him in their collections. At 6.75 inches he's rather tall for inclusion in a classic 6 inch figure lineup, though he's perfectly sized for the new 7 inch offerings from MacFarlane. His articulation is extremely limited and he cannot sit on the bike figure that was released alongside him, a hideously glaring mistake to collectors both then and now. But he is crafted well and includes all the accessories one would want a Kaneda figure to have, including his laser rifle, power pack, and even racing goggles (that can barely fit his head). If you're a fan of the character grab him, but if you're not you should probably pass unless you have a collection scaled to his size.
