Congo (Kenner)When Congo was released back in 1995 everyone was expecting another Jurassic Park, what they got was much less in story and excitment. But by that time Kenner had already jumped on the license for the toys as they hoped it would be another cash cow like JP. Well it wasn't and Congo toys lived a short life and only 1 series of figures and vehicles were produced. The figures were your typical standard fare but the vehicles were rather impressive. Using similar molds to the JP vehicles these added a bit of life to the line, and these also made for great display pieces. During the end of the run of this line these could be found for about $5.00 on clearance at KB or TRU, a stupendous deal and well worth it.
