Marvel Legends (Toy Biz) (Toy Biz)A few Daredevil figures have been made since the Marvel Legends line came out, and this Face-Off version seems the best, but that's not saying much :( The Blind Devil stands about 6 1/4 inches tall, which is okay, but some people are inevitably going to complain "Why is he taller than everyone else!?". The head-sculpt is pretty good, Murdoc has a smirk on his face, but the little dimple on his chin is way off-center, the chin looks deformed! The part of his face that's showing is neatly painted flat-flesh but the border with the mask is a little sloppy. There are two small horns on his head but they are rounded off and look less-threatening. The main body is made of red plastic while the gloves and boots are made of darker-red plastic and the whole figure is shaded nicely. Why do I think this DD looks better than the rest? Because the other ones all had Spiderman bodies, little, skinny, bland Spiderman bodies and the movie version was just awful. This figure on the other hand has a body-sculpt that sets him apart from the rest, almost unique. The problems with it are that the suit is way too wrinkled and the muscles are way too "chiseled" to look natural. He looks like a skeleton with plastic-wrap for a suit :( Another thing, some of the pins in the joints were slipping out and the right hand's fingers are stuck. DD has a reddish-brown belt and holster over his left leg to hold a pair of white nunchucks. The "DD" symbol is neatly painted in the center of his chest. Daredevil has standard ML articulation including a mid-section hinge and shoulder-sleeves that pivot up and down. These are the ugly, bulky, annoying shoulder-sleeves I hate. They make the shoulders stick-out grotesquely too far. The thing that's most annoying about this figure is that he isn't even good as custom-fodder.
