Jurassic Park III (Hasbro)I was surprised when I saw this action figure due to its sculpt. Unlike the previous SPino, this ones sculpt actually looks pretty good. Don’t get me wrong, its still small it just looks better here then it did before.

This Spino is actually bigger then its previous style. This is mostly due to the fact that it looks like it’s reaching for something above it. Like most other dinos of the series, it comes with two sound effects. The first is its DD on the chest. Of course its camoed to look like a rib bone and it turned out pretty well. When pushed he releases his pained scream. The second button is actually the front section of his fin. When pushed down he lets out a roar and his arms move up and down to simulate slashing. The one downside about his sculpt thhough is the mouth: its stuck in an open position.

His color is interesting, I think it looks a bit better then the last Spino. The whole body is white. Then on top of that he was given a dry brush of rust red which also goes up the fin. The fin also has blue stripes in the gaps. His DD is blood red of course and the ribs are white. His teeth are a yellowish white while his nails and claws are black.

Articulation is quite limited here. He only moves at his arms and his legs, not much but still enough to put him in a nice pose.

A pretty good figure but lacking in the articulation department. That and the frozen jaws cost him points.
