Iron Man - 2008 Movie (Hasbro)Hello All! I got lucky last week and found an Iron Man Mark III on a website and had to buy it, I gotta tell you I was a little worried about the Iron Man Movie figures because of how bad Hasbro screwed up the Spider-man 3 figures, so needless to say I was sweating pretty bad until I got him( hoping my $40 plus shipping wasn't a waste) but when I got him in the mail I was amazed! he is a little bit smaller than most marvel legends not really noticeable though, he is the same height just a tad bit scrawny in comparison so like Captain america or Black Panther. However it doesn't make him look out of place at all. The Possibility of the figure is wonderful( I would say 25-30 POA just like most ML ) He is really good at holding his position, no loose joints, and he looks really cool doing any pose. Now the only issue I had with this figure are his hands, they are only posable at the wrists (which is a kind of Ball-hinge combination joint.) the joint works great I was just hoping for some finger joints like Modern Armor Iron Man from series 8 but other than that the only other frustrating thing is his shoulder pads are a kind of snap on thingie so if you rotate his shoulders up his shoulder pad will Pop off and kinda fly across the table ( they Don't BREAK OFF, just pop off and pop right back on) but he looks just as cool with out them so I reckament taking them off for play and snap them on for a Shelf life. Now Heres the bad thing for all you customizers out there drooling to get there hands on one of these, The Head is a different kind of joint then I have ever seen its like a huge Ball that the had just Pop on too. So moding this head to a ML body like Modern Armor. will be difficult. ( Impossible for me ) but people like our beloved Jin might be able to figures something out. Also the torso joint is not a Hing, allowing him to hunch over in that " OHH I JUST GOT PUNCHED IN THE GUT " pose, its a swivel but again it seems to work perfectly.
