Write a Review link for that item. Wonder Woman (DC Direct) (DC Direct)Impulse buying is always fun, and I rarely regret doing it, Donna here is a perfect example why. She's gorgeous! I'm not going to pretend I knew who she was, I've only read 2 comics from the current Wonder Woman series and one of them had giant talking albino monkeys with laser-guns, so I dropped that acid trip pretty fast. This figure is worth getting no matter what you do or don't read. It's impressive, plain and simple, it stands-out on the pegs among the dozens of Batmans, she's like the cool chick at a party and you know you'll regret it the rest of your life if you don't pick her up. Donna stands about 6.5 inches, the lush voluminous hair pushes her height to 7 inches (I don't count hair as height by the way). She is cosmetically flawless; absolutely no blotchy-paint, very light make-up, and the eyes are perfectly painted allowing them to show the intelligence and confidence of the face's sculpt. For every positive there has to be a negative and for this figure it came in the form of a missing sword and and loose, waist. I didn't mind the missing sword so much, but the figure split into two when I opened the package, they forgot to glue the top and bottom halves together! Where's the freaking quality control!? The waist isn't supposed to swivel but I might as well modify to swivel while it's split like this, right? I thought this figure was Xena when I glanced at it on the wall, but Lucy Lawless or not, I still bought it. The cape is nice, it has a white underside with a red shell and is very flexible. You can remove it easily by just pulling on the contact-points a little. I like the intricate detail on the shoulder, elbow, and knee pads, but the detail seems out of place when compared to the blander (yeah, that's a word now) armor of the chest and boots, but I'm insane so you can't trust my judgement. The armor covers almost all the articulation so this is a very natural-looking figure. The articulation is what you'd expect from DC Direct; head and shoulders are ball-sockets, elbows and knees are hinged, and the wrists swivel. That's a whopping 11 POA! Wow!... :[ I definitely recommend adding swivels to the arms using the Screw Method. On a sucky note, my air-brush hose just decided to give me the finger, it popped when I was using it. Maybe a little tape will fix it
