Hock (Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad) Review

Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad (Playmates)Hock was one of many Megaviruses to show in this strange show. I really don't know much of a backstory for him seeing as how I never actually saw the episode with him in it.

The figure is terrifictly sculpted with all the scales, plates, cracks, bumps, and acratches in his blades. He looks just like as if the rubber suited creature from the show just leapt of the tv screen. I also thought I should state that Hocks torso is completly hollow.

He's molded in a dark grey plastic with a few paint applications on his. He has seafoam green painted on his front. Red for his beady little eyes. A brownish color for his toe nails. Black on to arm bands he for some reason is wearing. And a silvery paint for his balded nose, arm blades, and tail cluddle.

Articulation was not a strong suit for this line with each figure only having up to five points of articulation. Hock has two cut joints at the sholders and hips. His reamaining joint is at his tail. The biggest problems of this figure is that he has no neck joint and that he can't actually point any of his accessories at Servo or any other advesary.

Speaking of accessories Hock includes three of them all weapons to harm our heros. He includes a hook, a strange mace that looks a lot like the sun, and a strange lasor pistol. All of these weapons are molded in yellow plastic.

This figure is quite good and goes great with the set. Or he'd look great with any other kaiju such as Godzilla or King Kong. Or he could menace all your X-men or Ninja Turtles. If only he could actually point his gun at an enemy or turn his head he'd be perfect.
